‘Round here, we put the venerable Road King on a pretty high pedestal. It’s EVERYthing you need and NOTHING that you don’t . . . and it IS the motorcycle with the most direct DNA and ancestral lineage back to the original “Big Twin” motorcycles built by The Motor Company before the term “Rock and Roll” was even coined. The FL became the Hydro Glide, which became the Duo Glide, which became the Electra Glide. That Electra Glide morphed into what most now refer to as an “Ultra” . . . basically anything with bags, tour pack, and a fairing. But, that original bike existed as the “Electra-Glide Sport” until it had become a bit “tired”. In 1993, The Motor Company went back to the drawing board and gave that bike a complete remake. Returning to the styling of the 50’s and 60’s and reintroduced in 1994 as the Road King. Remember when you had to “get on the list”, then take the one that came in a year later even if it wasn’t your favorite color? That was the Road King. This one is a fine example of one too. Ageless Vivid Black Paint, classic styling, and chrome. Not to mention THAT HEADLIGHT NACELLE!! They’re getting hard to find this clean, so you’d better not let this one get away from you!
